Welcome to the 2009-2010 Wycliffe Bible Translators Gift Catalog. Presented here are 16 opportunities for you to provide a message of hope—the Good News about Jesus Christ. In the following pages you’ll read about people in Africa, Asia and Latin America. And all of them have this in common: they don’t yet have the Word of God in their mother tongue, the language of their heart.

It’s easy to choose a gift and give. It will only take a few minutes. But your gift—the Bible in a language someone can understand—will be eternal. Thank you for giving the gift of God’s Word this Christmas.

Help the Dyan people read and understand the Bible in their own language for the first time.

$50 to help provide Scriptures for the Dyan people

PURCHASE LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR BIBLE TRANSLATORS
You can increase the speed of translation for people in 1,200 language communities by providing translators with laptop computers, printers, and innovative new software.

PRINT BIBLE BOOKS FOR PEOPLE IN 7 LANGUAGES
Your gift will be used to print Scripture portions in seven languages in Africa and the Pacific Rim.

The Bolinao New Testament is scheduled to be completed in 2011. Your gift will be used to print Scripture portions in six other languages in Africa and the Pacific Rim as well.

Your gift to this project will help Kasem believers keep their translation work moving forward as they learn more about the true God who created and loves them.

You can support two teams of mother-tongue translators as they work to translate and check, then after publication to promote and distribute, the Shorter Old Testament (40 percent version) for a language in eastern Indonesia.

$250 to aid seven mother-tongue translators for one month

HELP CHILDREN COME TO JESUS THROUGH RADIO PROGRAMS
With your gift to the Jirish radio project, you can help ensure that children in Peru who speak the Huallaga Quechua language will continue hearing about Jesus through storytelling radio programs.

Your gift to translate the JESUS film for the Dirasha people of southern Ethiopia will allow us to quickly communicate the message of the gospel to the majority of this language group.

Your gift will support training workshops in Kateba—a sensitive area in Southeast Asia—and in Nampula, Mozambique, where Christians are not growing in their faith due to a lack of understanding of Scripture.
